Profile

Merging seamlessly with Tugun, Bilinga boasts the Gold Coast's only north-facing beach and is adjacent to the gentle swimming beach of North Kirra. The pace of life is relaxed and leisure activities focus strongly on the beach. An excellent walkway meanders along the coastline, with plenty of shade from well-developed trees. A good mix of free-standing homes and unit blocks exist in Bilinga and, as with other beachside communities on the Gold Coast, there is no vacant land remaining. Developers are snapping up older properties along the beach-front to demolish them and make way for luxury apartments.

The six-storey height restriction has ensured that Bilinga will not be taken over by an abundance of high-rises and will hopefully maintain its relaxed and easy going atmosphere. Pacific Parade is arguably Bilinga's best street, benefiting from a quiet location right on the beach with excellent views. A selection of local surf shops, corner stores and cafes scatter the esplanade at Bilinga and plenty of major retail facilities are located in neighbouring suburbs. A range of education options for all levels are also easily accessible nearby.
