Proximity to Pacific Motorway, Movie World and Wet 'n' Wild

The suburb of Gaven is directly to the east of Pacific Pines and border the Pacific Motorway. An older suburb in the northern Gold Coast, Gaven offers both residential and acreage living. The Albert Shire Council named Gaven after a family whose association with the district dates back to 1880. The boundaries of Gaven were gazetted on March 22, 1979.

Consisting of farmlets and acreage properties, the suburb is bordered to the south by the Nerang Forest Reserve, providing an usually rural ambience around the suburb. The first prime industrial sites to be rolled out in Gaven Central Business Park, the Gold Coast's latest industrial subdivision, were released to the market in June 2006. On completion the estate, located on Kingston Drive with uninterrupted exposure to the Pacific Motorway, will comprise 31 lots ranging from 1920sqm to 47,000sqm.
