Profile

The semi-rural suburb of Mt Nathan is one of the Gold Coast hinterland's premier addresses. The area backs on to the Nerang State Forest and is also home to a number of wineries and vineyards, which attract a steady stream of tourists. Fresh water fishing and rowing at Hinze Dam, which is about a 10 minute drive south, are also popular pastimes in the area.

With a selection of large blocks to choose from, Mt Nathan is home to residents who are keen to capitalise on the area's relaxed lifestyle and scenic beauty. The majority of homes are newer brick-and-tile acreage homes, although achitectural styles are diverse.

Nathan Vale Country Estate development was established in 2003, which has contributed to the area's growth. The homes on the estate have all the conveniences of modern living, but still capitalise on the peace and tranquillity of the bushland setting. There is a range of supermarkets and retail outlets in the neigbouring suburb of Nerang and the major tourist attractions -- Dreamworld, Wet n Wild, and Movie World -- are only about 20 minutes' drive away.
