Profile

Coomera has long been earmarked by the Gold Coast City Council and the State Government for a new satellite growth suburb of the Gold Coast, similar in many ways to Robina. Coomera's current population stands at around 12,000, however it is expected to multiply to about 80,000 over the next 20 years as the area develops into a self-sufficient regional town centre.

The area is separated into Coomera to the east and Upper Coomera to the west of the Pacific Motorway respectively. The suburbs are very different from each other and this is reflected in the values. Upper Coomera is seen as having the semi-rural lifestyle, but this is shared with the development of single detached dwellings. There are a mixture of land uses from dairy farming and cattle grazing to crop growing.

The developments in this location benefit from the close proximity to the Coomera River. The Upper Coomera precinct has also seen much development with Coomera Springs, a residential development that is have 750 home sites set around a lake, parklands, and recreational facilities. Other developments include Coomera Parklands, Coomera Grand, River Meadows and College Grange
